A smaller room on the south side of the garden in our co-house in Drongen Luchteren will become available in mid-February 2026 (approximately 13/02/2026).
First floor, approximately 8 m².
Very sunny and quiet room, with a lovely view of the terrace and garden.
Single bed, desk, and extra storage space on the landing.
Washing machine and dryer available for use in our garage by arrangement.
COMMON AREA:
Upstairs toilet/shower room for co-housers. Two showers are provided.
Furnished kitchen downstairs.
Front and back garden.
Plenty of free parking in front of the door in a safe, dead-end street.
Bicycle storage.
Supermarket, bakery, and pharmacy nearby. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood with a lovely front and large back garden, two south-facing terraces, perfect for enjoying the nice weather. It's easily accessible by public transport and also easily accessible by bike to Ghent city center (approximately 8 km).

The layout of the house and rooms guarantees absolute privacy. A quiet cul-de-sac, so you'll have a great night's sleep!

We're looking for a cheerful, lively housemate. Age isn't really important.
Young at heart is! Understanding and respectful towards others.
A true dog lover, neat and orderly. Social engagement and a dry sense of humor are highly appreciated. A stable income is preferred. The monthly rent is €420 / all-inclusive, based on reasonable and normal consumption. (2 months' rental deposit.)
Smoking is permitted outside.
We prefer no night workers or shift workers with irregular hours, given the vigilance of the dogs :-)

I, Wim, am a retired, active 60-plus-year-old and the owner of the house. I'm a nature and dog lover. I have two lovely miniature Schnauzers at home. I enjoy going to smaller performances, shows, and exhibitions. I love camping with my caravan. My girlfriend Karen visits regularly but doesn't live in the house.
Andy, 55, lives in the large front room.

We love a warm, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere at home. We don't have to do anything together, but we'd love to cook together (no, we're not vegetarians). Or we could go out for a drink in the neighborhood. A little help in the garden or with small jobs is always welcome.

De Campagne, Vinderhoutse Bos, a Spar supermarket and bakery nearby. Okay, Aldi and Delhaize are in the village. A bike shop is nearby. In Drongen village (about 2km away) you'll find several supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, banks, and, importantly, terraces! :-)
Access
Bus stop for line 50 is approximately 350 meters away, directly to Gent Sint Pieters via Drongen Dorp. Transfer to line 12 A or B to Gent Korenmarkt if necessary.
Ghent city center is also easily accessible by bike.
Or in the other direction to Eeklo/Bruges.
