They have a separate living room, kitchen and bathroom which they share amongst themselves. The ground floor is its own private unit and currently available for a 6 month, short term sublet.

The private studio apartment on the ground floor consists of two living room areas including a bedroom corner, a dining room patio which open onto a well equipped kitchen, a small shower-room with separate toilet, and a small courtyard. The apartment is fully furnished.

We're looking for a clean, sociable, and responsible woman (of any age) who enjoys both her privacy and connecting with others. We're looking for people for whom feeling at home is key and who are actively involved in building an atmosphere of trust and respect. Being vegetarian or pescatarian is a plus. If you practice pilates, meditation and/or yoga, you will find like-minded spirits. Keep in mind this is a short term contract, beginning on November 1st and ending on April 30th.

Jolie (21) from Ireland is in her second year of Painting at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Elena (24) from Spain has a degree in Ecology and is working full-time as a lab-technician in the Antwerp port, and Maya (22) from India is studying Dutch full-time. I am from Belgium (43) and I teach and conduct research at the University of Antwerp and for the Atlas Centre for Bioethics in Spain. I usually live in the ground floor apartment but am working abroad for those next six months and am looking for a nice person to take my place.

The spaces in the house are perfect for both spending time together and offering plenty of space for peace and privacy. The idea is that everyone feels free to be as social as they wish, while also respecting everybody's own time and space. Guests can cook and eat together as they wish. The rent includes cleaning fees. The cleaning help comes every two weeks for 4 hours, or - if you prefer - 3 hours every week. The cleaning fees are partially subsidised by both the government and the owners of the house. Therefore, you pay only 10 euros per hour of the 14/hour that the cleaner makes and you pay fewer hours than you receive.

Centrally located next to the city park. A-Velo station right outside. Trams are just around the corner on Lange Leemstraat (#4) and several lines on Belgielei (#2, 6, 15), as well as other lines on Mechelsesteenweg (#7), all less than a 5-minute walk away. Both Central Station and Antwerp-Berchem Station are less than a 10-minute bike ride away.
